Because Christians have "put on Christ" they need to show what it looks like to the world around them; in the way they treat one another and in the way they get their possessions.
When we live for Christ correctly we are in step with the HS and are able to put away anger and we can be kind to one another. After all, we didn't deserve to be forgiven yet Christ forgave us.
