There is a contrast that exists between the access that we have with God in the Old Testament verses the New Testament. Because of Jesus we have an access that is personal. No longer do we need to stay away from Mount Sinai and rely on a man to mediate for us, but we can run to Mount Zion to stand face to face with God because of Jesus.
