Risky Obedience

God calls us to be obedient. Sometimes that obedience can be viewed as ‘risky’. When Israel crosses the miraculously parted Jordan, God reminds them of a covenant that they were required to keep; the covenant of circumcision. It doesn’t make much sense for an army to be physically unfit for battle as soon as they get into enemy territory. What will they do? Read Joshua 5:1-9.
